Privacy policy

This page explains what information the site currently collects, what it is used for, who it is passed to, and how you can ask about it, change it or have it deleted. This is the current version, and it will be updated as the business and compliance requirements change; it is not legal advice.

What we collect

  • Order information: the products and quantities submitted when an order is placed, the recipient’s name, contact details and delivery address.
  • Enquiry information: what you send us through the site’s form, WhatsApp or email, and any photos or files you choose to attach.
  • Member signup details: the name, mobile and email you give when you sign up as a member, plus any postcode, delivery address or flavour and model preferences you choose to add.
  • Operational information: the routine server logs needed for the site to run and stay secure.

We confirm fields on a “no more than needed” basis: we do not ask by default for copies of identity documents, medical history or other material unrelated to processing an order.

What it is used for

  • Checking and processing orders, and arranging dispatch and delivery.
  • Answering enquiries, and handling after-sales and delivery questions.
  • Keeping order and source records for checking and traceability.
  • Bringing up your details when you order again, if you have signed up as a member, and sending new-product and offer emails to members who have opted in.

We do not use this information for purposes unrelated to those above; apart from the steps needed to complete an order and answer an enquiry, we do not pass your information to anyone outside.

Member details and marketing email

The member signup on this site is not an account: there is no password and nothing to log in to. It keeps a record we can check, so you do not have to enter your details again for every order; when an order comes in we match it to you by email or phone.

  • What is kept: name, mobile and email, which are required, plus postcode, delivery address and flavour or model preferences if you choose to fill them in.
  • Where it is kept: in this site’s own admin, visible only to the people who process orders and answer enquiries. It is not passed to a third-party marketing platform, and the site has no automated bulk-mail system.
  • Marketing email: new-product and offer emails go only to people who ticked the opt-in box themselves. The box is not ticked in advance, and you can sign up without it.
  • Withdrawing it: reply “cancel” to any email from us, or ask through WhatsApp or email, and we remove the record, which also ends the marketing email. Consent can be withdrawn at any time and does not affect orders already placed.
  • Correcting or deleting it: you can ask to see, correct or delete the record at any time, as set out under “Your choices and rights” below.

We do not sell these details, do not give them to third parties for their own marketing, and do not use them on off-site advertising platforms.

How long we keep it

Order and source records are kept as long as checking and traceability require; enquiry records are kept as needed once the question has been dealt with. Member details are kept until you ask for them to be removed, or until we have not heard from you for a period we will state here once it is confirmed. The specific retention periods for orders and enquiries are not yet final and will be written on this page once they are confirmed. You can ask at any time for information that is no longer needed to be deleted.

Who it is passed to

  • Payment: credit card payment is handled by the payment provider, and only the information needed to complete the payment is passed to that provider; the specific provider and how it handles data are to be confirmed.
  • Delivery: to complete delivery, the carrier receives the necessary recipient name, address and contact details.
  • Internal: only the people needed to process orders, handle after-sales and check records can see it.

If the site introduces analytics or marketing tools in future, their purpose and how to turn them off will be explained on this page before they go live, rather than added afterwards.

Your choices and rights

You can ask what information we hold about you, ask for anything inaccurate to be corrected, or ask for it to be deleted when it is no longer needed. Please make the request through WhatsApp or email, giving the order number or the time of your enquiry so it can be checked. A fixed response time is not yet set, and we will not give a promise we cannot keep.

Information that has to be kept because it relates to fulfilling an order or tracing records may not be able to be deleted immediately; we will explain the basis for keeping it and how much is kept.

Minors

This site is for adults aged 18 and over only. If you find that a minor has submitted information on this site, please contact us and we will delete the records. How age is confirmed is still to be confirmed; see Age & compliance.
